Of the Pau d'Arco, the cortex, which is the Latin name for the inner bark, is used for phytotherapeutic purposes; it contains important active ingredients.

Pau d'Arco has immune system stimulating activity, anti-inflammatory properties, antioxidant activity and possesses antimicrobial activity

Furthermore, it has further anti-fungal and anti-virus properties.

• Weak resistance.

Furthermore, Pau d'Arco has blood-purifying qualities and is used for this reason in rheumatic disorders and skin diseases.

Standard dosage

Recommended dose to take is 15-20 drops 2-3x daily with a small amount of water and preferably 15 minutes before or after a meal.
